SMACK’s Speculum series is currently on view at Pozu Santa Bárbara in Mieres, Asturias.
From April 10 to July 13, the legendary Pozu Santa Bárbara in Mieres becomes a portal to a digital dystopia with SPECULUM—a striking video triptych by Dutch collective SMACK. Inspired by Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, this immersive installation reflects on today’s hyperconnected world through mesmerizing 3D animation and disturbing digital archetypes: BIG DADA, EGONAUT, CYBERBULLY, and more.
Curated by L.E.V. Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual and presented with the support of Onkaos, this powerful reimagining invites us to look into the mirror of our times.
