Onkaos presented SEAL by Robert Alice in the Zero 10 sector of Art Basel Hong Kong 2026. Drawing on the Chinese tradition of collectors stamping artworks with seals of ownership, the project connects historical practices of provenance with blockchain technology.
SEAL invites collectors to create cryptographic seals that become part of a collaborative generative scroll. Alongside the digital release, a series of customisable paintings translates each collector’s seal into an engraved physical work, bringing together inscription, ownership and landscape.
